  • Knots or wood staining - Should be fully blocked with .
  • Ensure any laitance is washed off and removed prior to painting.

Application

We always recommend testing a small inconspicuous area to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Please be aware colours can vary on screens.

  • Preparation is always key with floors to not skip these steps as it can greatly affect adhesion and your finished results.
  • Stir the product well and apply using a brush or roller.
  • On new wood, cement render, or any porous substrate, the first coat should be thinned with 30-40% clean water.
  • Apply two full coats allowing four hours between each coat.
  • If the area is subject to heavy wear we recommend applying a third coat for extra protection.
  • Allow to dry for 16-24 hours before subjecting the floor to use.

Please note that coverage will differ depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate.

Aftercare & Storage

Ensure to clean the rim of the paint tin and firmly replace the lid before storing in a cool, dry area that will protect the paint from low temperatures. Do not store it in a shed or by hanging on a hook.

Do not clean the surface with strong alkaline cleaners as this may deteriorate the surface. Clean by mopping lightly with a weak detergent solution and rinse with clean water.
